Inspiration<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
The collection of books that comprises the Bible, although inspired by the Holy Spirit, was written by various individuals with their individual writing styles and over a period of about 1500 years, covering a history of 4000 years. <\/span><\/div>\n
Focus<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Each of the Bible books focuses on it\u2019s specific message. The books in the Bible are not ordered chronologically and their messages often overlap. This can make it difficult to keep a perspective and we often need other instruments to guide us.
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
I could not find an instrument to give perspective and have therefore decided to dig deep into the Biblical history and to sketch it. I plotted the lives of Biblical characters, incidents and the Bible genealogy started to take shape.<\/span><\/div>\n

Apparent contradictions in the BIBLE<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
The study has also cleared some apparent contradictions in the Bible. Example: The genealogy of Jesus that differs between Matthew and Luke. Matthew gives Jesus\u2019 genealogy through Joseph, Jesus\u2019 legal father (not his blood father), and Luke gives His genealogy through his mother Mary. Both Joseph and Mary are descendants from David, Mary through Nathan and Joseph through King Solomon.

It took about nine years to plot the 4104 years of Biblical history and to enrich it with some secular incidents.
\nThe research brought me in contact with a number of religious leaders and cell groups. The conclusion was that many people can benefit from this unfolding of the Biblical times.
\nThe work has now been completed and it is important that I share it with those that is interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the Bible.
\nThe Bible Genealogy depicts every 100 years of the Bible in 10 cm which makes it easy to gain perspective.<\/span><\/div>\n
The Bible is accurate. It includes much more than facts but also meanings, prophesies and \u201csilent prophesies\u201d. Naming a child is an excellent example: This was an important responsibility and silently prophesied what was going to happen in a person\u2019s life or what he would achieve: (a) David – \u201cbeloved\u201d (b) Methuselah \u201cwhen he dies it shall come\u201d. Methuselah died with the flood.
\nEven today, it is important to consider the name of a child carefully. We even find in the Bible that a person\u2019s name would change when he or she enters a new stage of life.<\/span><\/div>\n

The Bible timeline shows some interactions between Biblical and secular histories. Example: Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar lived in the same era as Pythagoras – the well known mathematician, Socrates – the philosopher, Plato – also a philosopher and Hippocrates known for the \u201cHippocratic Oath\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
